The Wolverine Cannon Just Kept Firing!

This Thursday's Ciaciaro race provided for a fine Wolverine showing. If you were not a WSC teammate this night you simply had front row seats to “The Wolverine Show”…and you may have paid full price for your seat but you only needed the edge! In a nutshell: John Talbot won the B race in true Champion form, Kelley Patterson also snagged a 3rd with a dominant field sprint that screamed Aerosmith’s “I’m Back in Saddle Again!”

In the A race, the WSC squad boasted an impressive finish claiming 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 7th. Dan Klein and Scott Kroske (The Horsey Power Enigma Wonder Boy) joined by Vince from Maple Leaf Cycling, kept the field struggling and frustrated trying to catch the juggernaut trio. In addition, the WSC squad dominated all of the primes. The goal was to always have a Wolverine off the front the entire race, and that is exactly how it played out. Big props to every WSC member that helped execute this plan. By the end of the humid two hours the field resembled 2 boxers in the final round swinging hopelessly. Capitalizing on the weary riders, Ray D. got the magic mirrors out, pulled “The Ray” and rode away like a majestic cowboy to claim 4th.

Wolverine Placings:
1. Dan Klein
2. Scott Kroske
4. Raymond Dybowski
7. Tim Finkel

This Week's Recipient of the “Who Cares. I’m Flying Award” is a Two-Way Tie!
1. Dan Klein for exhibiting that he is finally firing on all cylinders again.
2. Scott Kroske for realizing that he can ride a break and make moves; not just follow wheels and sprint.
Congrats!
