Sex Panthers Beat Off In The Shower!
Last night the almighty Sex Panthers extended their record to 8-1-1 in a well-earned kickball victory against Off In The Shower. I don't name the teams, I just do the reporting. The scores were 3-0 in the first and 16-1 in the second.
However, the Sex Panthers were faced with a virtually insurmountable obstacle to overcome in the second game. It seems that someone had underestimated the team’s hydration needs and under-bought on the loud mouth soup. Somehow, the team was still able to amble onto victory even with the imminent threat of dehydration!
Jewish-American Buries the Italian-Canadians!
Big congrats to Danny Klein who snagged his second win at Ciaciaro this past week! Danny had bridged himself from the field to the chase break, then to the break, and then right through the break. It was a great effort and a well-deserved win.
Myself, I was stuck in the chase break, which contained about four Wolverines. After Danny attacked, he was able to shed Danielle DeFrancheschi who then became locked in the wolverine cage. I rolled in at a respectable 7th after nearly being taken out by Kroske in the last turn (and I was trying to lead him out). Kroske loves his fellow Wolverines so much he just sometimes needs to ride really close to them to express his affection. After he almost introduced me to a black top face plant, he came across the line one foot out and his bike on a 45-degree angle with the literally hooked bars of John Coats; this sent John in the ditch. It’s a good thing John knows how to keep the rubber side down.

All work and no play, makes Timmy a very dull boy…
I am not MIA. I was out of town with limited internet access. However, it seems that between celebrating our nation’s freedom, losing for the first time in kickball, missing the State Crit, and painting the entire interior of my new digs…I have been creatively drained and unable to make time for the blogging world.
However, in an effort to drown my sorrows from Friday’s k-ball loss and tie against “Subject to Change” (current team record-6-1-1)…I picked up a new hobby:
