No turning back...

If anyone is looking for an excuse to ride your bike around the beautiful D at 7:15am, I could always use some support and cheers of familiar faces.

T minus 5 days to go…

The marathon is a mere 5 days away. Currently I am suffering from a bit of inflammation in my IT band. Since my 20 mile training run, I’ve yet to finish any significant distances without walking due to extreme discomfort and pain.


One thing that bike racing has taught me is the ability to suffer. I think I may need the key to the pain locker this Sunday. Wish me luck.

I have a dream...

I have a dream that one day even the state of Michigan, a state sweltering with the heat of financial turbulence, sweltering with the heat of insufficient bike lanes, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and obnoxiously huge backyard theater screens.
I have a dream that little children will one day live in a nation where they will they will have the opportunity to dance, play and be entertained by 211 inch backyard theater screens.
I have a dream today.
