I'm spending these last 10 days taking into account all of my race preparation details (i.e. lighting, nutrition plan, bike setup, clothing, etc.). However, I just came across this...which is something I hadn't accounted for!
I think everyone missed the point of that story. Tim has been talking about this 24hr race like he is climing Everest with one leg, but a 14 year old girl was doing it? Come on. I smell some shenanigan's here. When I think of peak physical performance a 14 year old girl isn't the first thing to come into my mind. RW
Don't forget, there are 2, 4, 5, and 10 man team categories in addition to solo. Tim is riding solo. Also, the 14 year old gymnist in the Olympics seem to be in pretty good shape to me.

There are no 14 year old gymnist. Tim's a whimp if he doesn't finish the 24hr race in under 19hrs.....
Finish... the 24 hour race... in under... 19 hours. My God, the pool looks shallow.

thats right when u ride with the yooopers you aint got notin to worry about...mountain bike with deer rifels never know when dinner is up a head!!!
