De Ronde van Metamora
Sunday April 22nd
In the true tradition of the early spring classics in northern Belgium, Tony Bruley and Bernie Clincke will be riding in a training ride in and around Metamora. The roads and conditions will be similar to those at Cone-Azalia, Paris Roubaix, and the Tour of Flanders. No bathrooms, no support, not a Sanctioned race, but kinda a race. Rural roads, light traffic, if any. Rules of the road apply.
The course is located in Metamora and is a 7 mile loop, which is half dirt, half pavement, with a few challenging hills. 58 miles or 8 laps will be the total distance for everyone.
Starting time is 9:00 am. Starting area and parking will be at the McLaren Medical Center on the corner of M-24 and Dryden road in Metamora.

“Hell of the North” okay its really the Hell of northern Oakland County but its pretty terrible for Michigan, plus there is a nasty little climb so it is more like Flanders than Roubaix
