It Happened Again! “A Beer”: As Mythical as a Big Foot or Loch Ness Monster

Will Power?…It seems I lack it! After only getting 3.5 hours of sleep last night due to the RO Brewery endeavor, I was dragging today! I debated whether or not I should even ride. However, I decided “sitting on” the B-Ham ride would serve me well as recovery from last week’s racing binge.



7:45- Ray Dybowski: Hey Tim, lets go to Dick O Dows and have a quick one after the ride
Me: I don’t Know? I have a lot to do
Ray: Come on, it’s only one…I’M BUYING!
Me: You had me at I’m buying

7:55: Arrive at Dick O Dows with the usual suspects (Andre Sotile, Ray D., Scottie K, Bruce Rivera, and Rob Akers=Beer #1
8:30: Still at the bar= Beer #2
9:00 Beer #3
9:30 Two servings of French Fries=Beer #4
10:10 Leave bar only to pick up a Cop on Bike escort filled with a multitude of questions of why 4 grown men in lycra were riding expensive bikes in the dark. At one point we were wondering whether or not we were going to have to out run an officer.
10:50 Arrive at home safely. Absolutely nothing accomplished for the night…man I love the summer!
